Sudhir Mishra is an internationally renowned filmmaker and one of the pioneers of the alternative independent cinema movement of India. He moved to Mumbai in 1980 and started as an assistant director and screenwriter in Kundan Shah’s cult comedy classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983). He later worked with Saeed Akhtar Mirza on Mohan Joshi Haazir Ho (1984) and Vidhu Vinod Chopra in Khamosh (1985). His directorial debut Yeh Woh Manzil Toh Nahin (1987) won the National Film Award for Best First Film of a Director. “Dharavi” (1992) won the National Awards for Best Hindi Film, Best Editing and Best Music Director. It achieved popular success in India and was shown at over 10 international film festivals. In the Festival of Three Continents in Nantes (France) the film won the critics’ Special Jury Prize. (‘Prix de la ville de Nantes’). He works with Microsoft’s Engineering Groups and Commercial Partner Organization to drive Microsoft’s strategy for the Media & Entertainment industry. Mr Kellerhals joined Microsoft in 2006 and has held several solution sales and sales management positions in the European and worldwide sales, marketing, and services organization at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr Kellerhals held senior management positions at one of Europe’s most successful independent software vendors for large-scale media asset management systems, where his responsibilities included product strategy, marketing, and sales management. Mr Kellerhals holds an M.D. (Diplom) in business administration and mechanical engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.
